This Status Digital Carbon Monoxide Alarm provides an early warning of the presence of carbon monoxide in your home. It monitors carbon monoxide levels in your home and displays them on its LCD display. If it detects dangerous levels of Carbon Monoxide (CO), its unmistakable 85 decibel alarm will sound and is loud enough to wake you should you be sleeping. Easy to use and easy to install requiring no wiring, the carbon monoxide alarm features a low battery warning and a test/menu button, allowing quick and easy testing of the loud 85 decibel alarm.
Requiring 3 x AA batteries (included), the quality Carbon Monoxide Alarm has an expected lifespan of 10 years from date of install, and has a sticker on it so you can write the date you fitted it in your home. It is recommended that at least one CO alarm is present on each level of your home. Ideally you should install a carbon monoxide alarm in every room which is used as living accommodation that contains a fixed combustion appliance, such as a boiler, fireplace, etc. Since 2022, landlords now have to ensure that a carbon monoxide alarm is fitted in any room used as living accommodation which contains a fixed combustion appliance (excluding gas cookers).

What is Carbon Monoxide?
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a colourless, tasteless, odourless, non-irritating lethal gas produced as a by-product during incomplete combustion of fuels due to there being insufficient oxygen present. Complete combustion occurs when sufficient oxygen is present and leads to the production of carbon dioxide. Most combustion processes (natural or man-made) produce some carbon monoxide. Toxic CO levels can occur suddenly or accumulate slowly over time. That's why lifesaving Carbon Monoxide Alarms utilise technology that is equally effective under both conditions.

We offer a wide range of delivery options. We offer standard Royal Mail postal and Parcelforce or APC courier services. Orders that are over 3kg in weight have to go with one of our couriers, which is a next working day service. Please note, currently we do not ship outside of the UK.
We process and dispatch orders Monday-Friday only. We do not ship packages during weekends or bank holidays. Our cut-off times are 1pm for courier delivery, and 4pm for Royal Mail delivery. For guaranteed next day delivery, you will need to place your order before 1pm, allowing time for any security checks to be completed. We cannot guarantee next day delivery on orders placed after then, although we will try our best. Orders placed after 4pm on a Friday or over the weekend will be dispatched on the Monday. Delivery services exclude weekends and bank holidays so please take this into account when placing your order.
We pass on your email and/or mobile number to our couriers who will keep you updated with the status of your delivery. You will receive an email and/or SMS message on the day of delivery giving you an estimated delivery time. If your item is being delivered Royal Mail Tracked or by Parcelforce, you may be able to re-arrange delivery to a neighbour, opt to have it left at the delivery address, collect your parcel or have the order delivered another day from your SMS/email. If you do not wish us to pass on your contact details to our carrier, please let us know after purchase.
