151 Pro Bathroom and Shower Silicone is suitable for filling gaps and cracks in the bathroom. It is based on a high performance silicone and will provide a long lasting permanently flexible seal. It comes in a handy small size tube that's ideal for use behind taps or in narrow gaps where a standard cartridge and gun can't reach. Mould resistant, the sealant dries a brilliant white and is perfect for use around basins, baths, showers and much more. Quick and easy to apply, the silicone can be smoothed over within 5 minutes and typically cures within 5 minutes but can take 24 hours.

To Use:

1. All surface areas must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease
2. Remove any traces of old silicone with a sharp knife
3. Unscrew the cap and puncture the seal on the tube
4. Replace the nozzle and cut to give an opening that will give the size of bead required
5. Cut at a 45° angle to achieve a smooth finish. The bead size should be slightly larger than the gap to be filled
6. Squeeze the tube and apply a small but constant thread of silicone into the joint, ensuring contact with both surfaces
7. Once applied the filler can be smoothed off using a wetted finger or spatula within 5 minutes of application
8. The silicone should be cured in approximately 1 hour, depending upon conditions. Full curing can take 24 hours
9. Replace cap and clean out nozzle with white spirits for future use
10. Excess filler can be removed with a damp cloth
11. Tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use
12. Store in a cool dry area and protect from frost

Handy Hints:

• Apply the silicone sparingly, gaps can always be refilled
• Applying excessive silicone can make it more difficult to obtain a neat finish and make cleaning up harder
• Soap and water can be used to clean up excess silicone
• Areas beside the joint can be masked with tape for a neater finish (remove the tape before the silicone cures)
